r2ESTIMATING, LLC is a dedicated team of professionals committed to the proposition that effective software project planning and software project monitoring and control should be accessible and affordable to all organizations involved with the development or procurement of software. That's why we offer perpetual (non-renewal) licensing and a pricing model that is sensitive to the needs of organizations large and small.

r2ESTIMATING, LLC was formed in February 2006 in response to the needs and challenges facing the software project estimating community. While the company itself is new, its principals have over 50 years of combined experience in the software project estimation field and have extensive experience with most of the tools and models available on the market today.

Our mission is to provide superior and affordable tools and services to organizations making or buying custom software, increasing the percentage of software projects that are delivered on time and within budget.

Our Vision

Our vision is that one day software development projects having cost overruns or schedule slips will be a thing of the past.

Founder and CEO Michael A. Ross has over 30 years of experience in software engineering. As a developer and project manager, he soon discovered the need for serious solutions to software estimation. He spent his most recent 10 years as a senior executive for two of the most prominent software estimating tool and consulting companies in the industry giving him unparalleled experience with, and a unique perspective on, software estimation and project management.
